fashion connect: bonprix pilot store opens today in Hamburg – exclusive opening with invited guests on the eve of the grand opening

Yesterday evening, bonprix invited guests to the exclusive opening of its new pilot store on Hamburg's Mönckebergstraße. Around 120 guests were treated to a festive presentation of the innovative ‘fashion connect’ concept, which focuses on a consistently digitally assisted shopping experience. Members of the Otto Group Executive Board and celebrities such as model Franziska Knuppe, actress and presenter Janin Ullman, former GNTM contestant and influencer Klaudia Giez, actor and stylist Manuel Cortez and his wife Miyabi Kawai were able to see for themselves how intuitive and entertaining this new way of shopping is. Influencers Dani Herold from @dani_nanaa, Franziska Albrecht from @frances – Zukkermädchen and Mary Tsakiridou-Streit from @fashionloveland_ were also among the guests and tested shopping with the bonprix app, which acts as a personal shopping assistant.

‘We have more than two years of conception and testing behind us, and we are very proud and excited to now be launching a new shopping experience,’ said Rien Jansen, Managing Director of bonprix Handelsgesellschaft and responsible for purchasing, marketing and retail, in his opening speech. ‘We hope and look forward to inspiring our customers with our new pilot store.’

Today, 14 February 2019, at 10 a.m., the bonprix pilot store at Mönckebergstraße 11 in Hamburg officially opens its doors and has lots of surprise promotions in store. Customers, visitors and interested parties can now immerse themselves in this new bonprix world from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The store concept was developed with the support of the brand architects at dan pearlman. The retail specialists at Vizona were responsible for the shopfitting. The bonprix app was developed in collaboration with apploft, the specialist for mobile apps. The RFID solutions in the store were implemented together with the experts at Mieloo & Alexander. The checkout software in the pilot store was provided by GK Software.
