bonprix, an international fashion brand belonging to the Otto Group, has recently completed the relocation of its Lodz team to the Nowa Fabryczna office building. The company has moved into nearly 2,400 m² of modern space designed to support creativity, collaboration, and a hybrid work model.

The new office serves as a multifunctional operational center, combining areas for individual and team work. Employees have access to modern meeting rooms, quiet work zones, an open event space, and a “fashion corner” showcasing the brand’s latest collections. bonprix offers a wide and diverse range of fashion products to millions of customers across Europe, aiming mainly at women between 40 and 60.

The official opening took place on March 19. The symbolic ribbon was cut by Adam Pustelnik, First Deputy Mayor of Lodz; Maja Biernacka, Managing Director of bonprix Sp. z o.o.; and Matthias Wlaka, Managing Director Technology at bonprix.

New address, new possibilities

The relocation is an important business decision supporting the company’s successful future in Lodz. The new location better meets organizational needs and reflects the growing scale of projects. Around 130 specialists work in the office, representing key areas such as product development, e‑commerce, marketing, customer service, accounting, operational logistics, and IT.

“Our new space is not just a change of location, but enables a change in the quality of work. We wanted to create a place that supports people and fosters a culture of collaboration. I am convinced that this environment will open new opportunities for us and help us achieve our strategic goals even more effectively. It is an investment in the company’s growth and a solid foundation for further development,” says Maja Biernacka, Managing Director of bonprix Sp. z o.o.

E-commerce in a space built for collaboration

The Lodz office plays an important role in developing e‑commerce processes and projects that influence the shopping experience of bonprix customers across Europe.

“The Lodz team has a significant impact on the development of our e‑commerce solutions. The new office supports testing, prototyping, and improving processes crucial for all bonprix markets. Our priority is to create convenient and intuitive shopping experiences. We believe this location will have positive effects on the collaboration and efficiency of our team, thus effectively support initiatives focused on service quality and user satisfaction,” emphasizes Matthias Wlaka, Managing Director Technology.

Lodz remains an important hub for bonprix

For 35 years, bonprix has been one of the major employers in the region. The move to Nowa Fabryczna strengthens the company’s connection with the city and aligns with the ongoing development of Nowe Centrum Łodzi — an area symbolizing urban transformation and a modern approach to city space.

“Nowe Centrum Łodzi is now the city’s showcase, reflecting the direction of Łódź’s development. The presence of companies like bonprix confirms that investors see potential here, along with the competence of local talent and favorable working conditions,” says Adam Pustelnik, First Deputy Mayor of Lodz.

Nowa Fabryczna – standard and accessibility

Nowa Fabryczna, designed by medusa group, is one of the key buildings in Nowe Centrum Łodzi. The building holds a LEED Gold certificate and the title of an “accessible facility.” Its location next to Łódź Fabryczna Station ensures convenient transport connections, while the office building offers modern and flexible solutions tailored to the needs of contemporary organizations.
